Our Curriculum
We have designed educational programs for children based on their age group. Our programs are a unique blend of multiple different learning techniques that focus on play-based learning balanced with academics. We make learning in our facility a fun adventure for children, growing their confidence in learning new materials, asking questions through their own curiosity through play. Educational lessons are based on our children’s current interests and focused attention. Students will practice and then master new skills in our well thought out facilities.
Our Programs
Infant Program
The infant program is for children aged 6 months to 18 months. In this age group we offer smaller sized classes based on specific ratios, 3 educators to 10 infants. Infants learn quickly through sensory play, music, and natural interaction. These interactions will build confidence in your child and help them to explore in a safe and colourful environment. Infant educators will incorporate appropriate structured learning opportunities such as fine motor skills and vocabulary. Our educators will cater to a child’s specific schedules, such as naps and feeding, and help them to achieve a regular school schedule as they age and become more confident.
Toddler Program
The toddler program is for children 18 months to 30 months, with ratios of 1 educator for every 5 children. Developmentally appropriate activities will engage toddlers in learning and beginning academics. A strong focus on language development in this age group will help toddlers vocalize everyday items, animals, and people with much clarity. Children will learn at their own pace with a balance of free-play and hands-on experiences. Other areas of play-based learning include dramatic play, arts and crafts, sensory activities, nature walks, experimental science, and circle time. Daily, toddlers will take part in our “FitnessFocus” that will further develop their coordination, gross motor skills and balance control.
Preschool Program
The Preschool Program is for children who are 30 months old to 6 years. There is 1 educator for every 8 students in this age group. This is an exciting age group that focuses on school readiness, independence, self-regulation, and social interactions. Independent toileting and dressing are fun with our child-sized washroom facilities. Academics and literacy are a focus as children become ready to enter the school system. Parent and teacher communications at this time are opened through personalized reports for your child. Preschoolers will also enjoy dramatic-play, hands-on science-based learning, daily FitnessFocus and ample creative arts and crafts.
Nutrition
Our complete menu follows Canada’s Food Guide in balanced portions of vegetables, proteins, and dairy. Cooked fresh daily in our on-site kitchen using organic products and ingredients to ensure the healthiest foods for growing children. We can accommodate all dietary concerns due to allergies/intolerance or religious beliefs.
